4.12 Ministries is the name of the youth ministry program at Pine Tree Church of Christ in Longview, TX.
It's a youth group of 60+ that's made up of 6th-12th grades from 5+ currounding school districts. Our Mission Statement
Before creating our mission statement, we spent several weeks discussing its key ingredients: direction, purpose, vision, & goals. After spending this time, we began to create our own statement that we believe includes God's direction, Our Purpose in Life, His Vision for Us, and The Ultimate Goal: Saving souls. Our Mission Statement is:
"Guided by Christ, we strive to grow in faith, in unity, and in courage so that we can be shining examples of Christ to the world." Our Mission Verse
Our Mission Verse was chosen by our own teens. After creating our Mission Statement, we want to find a verse that we could look to that would remind and encourage us in our daily walk. So the youth group chose 1 Timothy 4:12 - "Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity." Our Staff
